About
Calm care for kidney cats, for the people who love them.
Chronic kidney disease is one of the most common conditions in older cats. The diagnosis is overwhelming, and the care happens at home, every day. KidneyPaw exists to make that work feel calmer and clearer.
What we believe
- Understanding reduces fear. A lab report full of abbreviations is scary. The same numbers in plain English, with good questions for your vet, are something you can work with.
- Your vet leads. We explain and organize; we never diagnose, stage, treat or suggest doses.
- Data should be honest. Every food shows where its numbers came from, how confident we are, and when we last checked. Commissions never change rankings.
- Never a paywall in a panic. The emergency guide, reminders and data export are always free.
- Calm by design. Big type, big buttons, short sentences and gentle words, because a lot of this happens at 2 a.m.
How we make content
Our lab explanations and guides are written as fixed, reviewable text, based on published veterinary sources such as the International Renal Interest Society (IRIS), the Cornell Feline Health Center, ISFM and AAFP guidelines, and VCA Animal Hospitals’ client education. We cite our sources on every guide.
We are recruiting licensed veterinarians as content advisors. Until a veterinarian has reviewed our content and agreed to be named, every page says so plainly. Current status: Veterinary review: pending
Are you a veterinarian with a feline or internal medicine background who’d like to help? We’d love to hear from you at 781960591@qq.com.
