How we may earn money
Some pages may include links to retailers such as Chewy, Amazon or Petco. If you buy through one of those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Any page with such links shows this notice next to them: “We may earn a commission — this never affects phosphorus data or rankings.”
What commissions never change
- Phosphorus numbers, which come only from nutrition data and our published formulas.
- The order in which foods are listed.
- Which foods appear in “compare with similar foods”.
- Our editorial guides, which are never paid for by food companies.
Our main business
KidneyPaw is funded mainly by optional Premium subscriptions in the app, not by advertising. We don’t run display ads, and we don’t accept payment to include, exclude or rank foods.
